- Head over to the android beta web page,
- On this page,Signin using the Google account used on your android phone,
- Click on the devices tab from the Top,
- Select your device and click on “Join the beta program” option,
- Follow the instructions and complete the process,the update will arrive in about 24 hours on your mobile.
Updates aren’t always immediate and may take up to 24 hours to arrive, If it has been more than 24 hours, make sure your device is connected to the internet, and check for updates by going to Settings > System > System updates,you can easily check if your are running a beta version of android,in order to do so,Navigate to Settings > System > About Phone > Build number. If the build number starts with “PPP”, you are running a beta version of Android P,Or simply Restart your device You will see a message informing you that your device is running a beta version of Android.
