How to avoid toll roads while traveling using Google Maps

While Using google maps,You’ll see a toll icon when your route includes toll roads and you’ll see a ferry icon if your route requires you to take a ferry, To avoid tolls and ferries completely, select “Route options” when you search for driving directions and check off the categories you want to avoid,make sure you are using the latest version of google maps in order to get all the latest features,Follow the instructions from below and refer to the images attached for further clarifications.

In order to do the trick just head to the Google Maps app on your phone,Download the Google Maps app from Playstore or Appstore as per your OS , set the starting point and destination,then click on the three dots from the right side and click on the “Route options” a new window will open ,their tick mark the “Avoid toll roads” option once done,click on the ‘Start’ option.

This feature is not available for the Lite version of Google Maps,But you can also use it on your PC,follow this simple procedure to avoid toll roads on Google maps If you are Using google Maps on your PC ,the process is a bit different,On your computer, open Google Maps,Click Directions Directions,Click points on the map, type an address, or add a place name,Choose Options,Check the box next to “Tolls” or “Highways.”
